Noel Bruns
president
The guy who started it all, 25 years ago. Before building ASI from the ground up, Noel worked in the IT department at ComEd for 15 years. He enjoys running and cross-country skiing with Doug the dog, yard work and having a beer with good friends.

Ben joined ASI full-time in June, 2018. Previously, he did Enterprise software sales for SAP. When he isn’t making sales for ASI, Ben plays guitar, reads, and enjoys weekend trips.

Eric Bruns

Eric has been at ASI for three years now. Before Ablesoft, he was a developer at ConAgra Foods in Omaha, Nebraska. When not behind the computer at ASI, Eric stays active by golfing, playing on a men’s baseball league, and working out. He also enjoys traveling and cooking as much as possible.

Alan joined ASI 5 years ago. Previously, he worked at Addison Automatics, Inc., and in the Sterling Public Schools doing IT. Alan is always up for a day or weekend trip and enjoys spending time with family at home in the pool or attending school and sporting events.

Michelle has been with ASI for over 19 years. Before working for ASI, she worked in a law office in DuPage County. She enjoys hiking, RV vacationing, biking and spending time with her family.

Lisa has worked at ASI for seven years. Before coming to Ablesoft, she was a bookkeeper and owned a Zumba studio. When she is not chasing a two-year old and an infant around, she enjoys coffee dates and weight training.

Coming on board in September 2020, Andrew is the newest member to join the Ablesoft team. He has a storied past across technology jobs including infrastructure and application support, software development, and data analysis. Outside of work you may find him biking trails in the area, playing guitar at the occasional gig in Rockford, or sipping on a craft brew.

Humpday Therapy dog
Doug recently joined us in the office part-time on Wednesdays. When he is not eagerly greeting guests and staff at the door, he enjoys long runs with Noel and exploring his neighborhood, unaccompanied.

In addition to working with the Ablesoft development team, Edgar is also a student at Rock Valley College. Outside of his busy schedule he enjoys escaping into grand stories of Anime, gaming on his PC or Nintendo Switch, and honing in his green thumb through gardening.
